Welcome to the “Hide When Offline” feature! With this option, you can control when the WhatsApp icon or button is visible on your website. This feature is exclusively available in the PRO version.
Here’s a simple guide to using it:
Step 1: Let’s set up your business hours. Navigate to “Click to Chat” -> “Business Hours—Offline/Online” and define the hours when you’re available to chat.
Note: The time settings will follow your website’s time zone, which you can adjust in WordPress admin -> Settings -> General.
Step 2: Once you’ve set your business hours, select “Hide when Offline” and save your changes.
From now on, the WhatsApp icon or button will only be visible during your selected business hours, for example, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Outside of these hours, WhatsApp won’t appear on your website.
But wait, there’s more! Instead of just hiding the WhatsApp icon or button, you can customize the call to action and WhatsApp number for offline (non-business hours).
Simply provide the content you’d like to display during these times, and your users will have a seamless experience, knowing when to expect a response.
