To install the “Click to Chat” plugin

The “Click to Chat” plugin allows you to add a WhatsApp chat button to your WordPress site, enabling visitors to contact you directly via WhatsApp.

Step 1: Log into Your WordPress Admin Dashboard

1. Open your web browser and go to your WordPress admin login page.
2. Enter your username and password, then click the Log In button.

Step 2: Navigate to the Plugin Installation Page

1. In the left-hand sidebar, hover over Plugins and click on Add New.

Step 3: Search for the “Click to Chat” Plugin

Step 4: Install the Plugin

1. Look for the “Click to Chat” plugin by HoliThemes in the search results.
2. Click the Install Now button next to the plugin name.
3. WordPress will download and install the plugin. Once the installation is complete, the Install Now button will change to Activate.

Step 5: Activate the Plugin

1. Click the Activate button to enable the plugin on your site.

Step 6: Configure the Plugin Settings

1. After activation, you will be redirected to the plugins page. Locate the “Click to Chat” plugin and click on the Settings link below the plugin name, or go to Settings > Click to Chat in the left-hand sidebar.
2. On the settings page, enter your WhatsApp number and customize the chat button settings as desired. Options typically include button text, position, and styling.
3. Save your changes by clicking the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.

Step 7: Verify the Plugin Functionality

1. Visit your website’s front end to ensure the WhatsApp chat button appears as expected.
